These cazuelitas are ideal for holding salsas, pickled onions or relishes, but they are low-fired clay and can also be used for actual cooking over a low gas flame.
Try warming up some tomato salsa, thinned out by a bit of chicken or vegetable stock, and poach an egg right in the cazuela. Or set out several on your dinner table and fill with your best salsas.
Approximately 5 inches in diameter and 1 3/4 inches tall. Hand-crafted in Hidalgo, Mexico, so there will be small variations in size and color. The glaze is lead free.
