These are some scenes from some weird and wonderful salt ponds about an hour outside of Merida, in San Cristano. The men working the salt are a collective and like most of these ag collectives we've met, they're very proud of what they're doing. The salt was excellent and they should be proud. With luck, we'll be importing it soon.
