All sales, not just the profits, of this limited edition Harvest tee-shirt go to the Santa Ana Unified School District's Farm to School program, headed by Prof. Moises Plascencia. Moises and Rancho Gordo's Steve Sando met years ago when Moises was collecting seeds from Santa Ana families who were gardening, creating a seed bank rich in local immigrant history. 

FARM2SAUSD is a variety of programs that use school meals as a conduit for learning, connect health to heritage, strengthen local food systems, and promote better living at Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) Nutrition Services. The underlying goal is to build a more sustainable and just food system, taking a holistic approach to health, learning, and community. Funds from the tee shirt will help with food procurement, raised bed gardens for the students, education, and composting. You can learn more about the program here.
